Facing stiff competition from Republican rivals, Delegates Kathy Tran (42nd House District) and Paul Krizek (44th House District) easily retained their seats and will be part of the new Democratic Party majority in Richmond.
Tran defeated Republican Steve Adragna with almost 60 percent of the vote, while Krizek won almost 71 percent to defeat his Republican challenger, Richard Hayden. Hayden has already pledged to run again in 2021.
Paul Krizek has retained his seat in the Virginia House of Delegates (Source: Krizek for VA campaign).
