Mount Vernon, VA - Virginia House of Delegates member Paul Krizek (HD-44) released the following statement following his re-election victory on Tuesday.
“To the voters of the 44th district,
I am so humbled to have your enduring support as your representative in the House of Delegates for the 44th District. It is such an honor to serve the community where I grew up, raised my family, and dedicated my career. Thank you to the volunteers that took the time to help my campaign. Without you, this victory would not be possible.
Across the Commonwealth on Tuesday, voters made it clear that they support a new vision for Virginia. With a Democratic majority in the General Assembly, we can now right the ship on climate change, pass the Equal Rights Amendment, eliminate gerrymandering, and finally act on the gun violence epidemic. Moreover, we can better fund transportation projects to fix and maintain our roads on your commute and in your neighborhood, better fund our schools and raise teacher pay, and work with our local Board of Supervisors on affordability of housing in Fairfax County.
These next two years, I look forward to hearing from you about your thoughts on how we can achieve these goals, bills you'd like to see in the General Assembly, or any other issues you have. Please feel free to contact me and my team any time on my website: paulkrizek.com.”
